3. Location of Planting: Finding a spot to plant the tree. Is it shaded by other objects during the summer?  Will the tree get enough sunlight throughout the day?

4. Soil Testing: It is recommended to have your soil tested. Amending the soil creates an ideal environment for the tree and the life in the soil the tree has a connection with.
